Clay and More
RVA Clay is a community of potters and clay artists in the Richmond, VA area.
Each year they host the RVA Clay Tour - a weekend tour of 15-20 studios in the greater Richmond area featuring scores of pottery artists.
RVA Clay's stated goals are:
· To create an environment that inspires and enriches our diverse local/regional area clay community.
· To foster creativity, economic vitality, and collaboration.
· To increase public awareness and access to the diverse array of clay artisans, studios and galleries in the area.
Long-term we would like to create an organization with social as well as business gatherings, posting events, promoting each other's works, hosting workshops
We strive to be positive, inclusive, open and transparent.
